Astoria Park

Astoria Park is located at 19th Street and Ditmars Boulevard in Queens. The nearest train stop is the Ditmars Blvd on the N (this is the last stop on the train). Via car, the best route is the Queensboro Bridge (if you are coming from Brooklyn, the Pulaski Bridge via McGuiness is also convenient). The performances will be nearest 19th Street & Ditmas Blvd.

Fort Greene Park

Fort Greene Park is the heart of Brooklyn. You can take just about any train (even the G!): A/C to Lafayette Avenue, G to Fulton Street, D, N, Q, R to DeKalb Avenue or the 2, 3, 4, 5 to Atlantic Avenue or Nevins Street. Via car (from Manhattan), take either the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge. The performance is nearest Myrtle Avenue, on the lawn behind the parkhouse.

Cherry Hill at Central Park

Central Park is, well, Central Park. At the heart of Manhattan, it is accessible by almost every subway -- the optimal route is really going to depend on your departure point (and note that even though most train lines stop in the vicinty, the Park is so large you will likely have a 20 minutes walk). Cherry Hill is Mid-Park at 72nd Street west of Bethesda Terrace.

Juniper Valley Park

Juniper Valley Park is in Middle Village, Queens. The best train is the M to Metropolitan Avenue.. Via car, the best route will very much depend on your start point. Middle Village is just off the L.I.E, but we freely admit we don't drive Queens enough to ever recommend taking the L.I.E.

Prospect Park

Prospect Park is the heart of Brooklyn. Most train lines get you in the vicinty, with the most proximate stops being the 2/3 to Grand Army Plaze, F to 15th Street/Prospect Park West, or the B/Q to Prospect Part. Via car (from Manhattan), take either the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge and head up Flatbush Ave.

Waterside Plaza, Manhattan

Waterside Plaza is at the intersection of 23rd Street and the FDR. The nearest train is the 6 to 23rd Street, or the
L to First Avenue
(and honestly, neither is that close -- allow yourself 15 minutes walking). Several buses will get you closer. The M16 is best, and the M15 and M9 will also get you quite close. Only the M16 crosses the FDR. Best crossing points on foot are at 23rd Street (street level), and 25th Street (walkway) -- or walking up from the East River Park is nice (cross at 8th, 10th and Houston).

Castle Clinton at Battery Park, Manhattan

Battery Park is the base of Manhattan -- most Manhattan lines have a stop nearby (be wary -- the J/M/Z doesn't on the weekend!), but the best are the 1 to South Ferry (all ten cars now!), or the 6 to Bowling Green.

Queensbridge Park

Queensbridge Park is just north of the 59th Street Bridge, right at the river. Take the F train to 21st Street, and head West on 41st Ave. If you are driving, take the 59th Street bridge, and use the 21st Street exit, and take right on 21st Street to 40th Avenue (which is north of the bridge).

Pelham Bay Park

Performance is at the South Meadow Picnic Area (left of the dog run). Directions:

By Car: The Bruckner Expressway/New England Thruway has two park exits, "Country Club Road/Pelham Bay Park" and "Orchard Beach/City Island." So does the Hutchinson River Parkway at "Pelham Parkway East" and "Orchard Beach/City Island." Pelham Parkway serves as a cross-town route to the parke.

By Subway: Take the IRT Number 6 line to its last stop, Pelham Bay Park.

Inwood Hill Park

Inwood Hill Park is located at 207th Street and Seaman Avenue in upper Manhattan. The nearest train stop is the 207th Street A Train (this is the last stop). Via car, the best route is the Henry Hudson/9A to the Riverside exit. The performances will at "The Peninsula", just past the Nature Center.
